Orange Unified School District is going back to school on August 16th. As the summer sun sets and the school bells begin to ring, the excitement and anticipation of a new academic year mingle with concerns about bullying – a pervasive issue that affects students across the nation. Even in 2023, bullying is a problem parents and educators are fearful of. According to NCES survey conducted in 2019, one out of every five students report being bullied and Cyberbullying Research Center & Cartoon Network’s co-search 2020 survey states  13% of tweens (9 to 12 years old) reported experiencing bullying at school and online. As bullying remains a prominent waxing issue, the need for parents’ and educators’ proactive involvement is heavily essential.
